Emergency Food Support
Continues 24/7 Across Our
Community

Hunger doesn’t wait, and neither do we.

At New Parks Community Mission Foodbank, our commitment to the community remains unwavering. We continue to provide 24/7 emergency food support, delivering freshly cooked, nutritionally balanced meals to individuals and families in crisis often within just two hours of receiving a request.

Recognition & Trust

Unlike traditional foodbanks, our approach is built around nutrition and wellbeing, not just basic food provision. We believe emergency support should help people recover and stabilise, which is why we do not rely on standard pasta or rice-only parcels. Every meal we prepare is designed to offer real nutritional value, comfort, and reassurance during difficult moments.

This vital work is made possible by the strength of our community. Volunteers, donors, local businesses, and professional referral partners work together to ensure our emergency response remains fast, reliable, and respectful. Through this collective effort, we are able to support over 250 people every week and continue operating as a trusted emergency service.

As a registered charity (No. 1212441) and recognised service provider, New Parks Community Mission Foodbank is committed to transparency, accountability, and safeguarding. We are proud to have received the High Sheriff of Leicestershire Award 2024, reflecting the trust placed in us by the community and our partners.

As demand for emergency food support continues to grow, our mission remains unchanged: to be there when people need help most, providing nourishing food, rapid response, and compassionate support — day or night.
