Every member of our board has undergone comprehensive trustee training to ensure the highest standards of accountability and governance for our charity.
Donna Elliott
Founder, Trustee, ICO Data Protection Officer, & HR
Donna is the driving force behind our mission. An award-winning social entrepreneur, she serves as a Community Ambassador for The Curve Theatre Leicester and is deeply committed to lifelong education to ensure our charity remains accountable and progressive. Donna brings specialised expertise as a Mental Health First Aider and FGM Officer. Her leadership is rooted in the values of Equality and Diversity, ensuring that NPCM is an inclusive space for everyone in Leicester.
Matthew Hood
Trustee, & Safeguarding Officer
Matthew has been instrumental in the growth of NPCM since its inception in 2019. With a professional background in high-precision engineering and technical services management, he applies a rigorous, detail-oriented approach to his role as Safeguarding Officer. Matthew’s dedication to the community was recognised as part of The New Parks Community Mission Foodbank team with the High Sheriff of Leicestershire Award in 2024. He is passionate about using his technical skills—from building computer systems to maintaining essential resources to support families and vulnerable people across Leicester.
Nathan Jeffrey
Foundational Member, & Fire & Safety Officer
Nathan is a cornerstone of our organisation, providing the essential infrastructure that keeps our operations safe. With 15 years of electrical experience and a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Systems, he serves as our Fire & Safety Officer. Nathan manages all critical regulations, including risk assessments and maintenance. Beyond his technical role, Nathan is a mentor who encourages the next generation of tradespeople to give back, he frequently guides apprentices to volunteer their skills for charitable work, saving the organisation thousands of pounds in vital maintenance costs.
Deepal Nakum
Trustee & Treasurer
Deepal oversees the financial health of NPCM. As Treasurer, Deepal ensures that every donation and or grants is managed with absolute transparency and efficiency. Like all our trustees, Deepal is fully committed to the role of trust, ensuring that our resources are utilised effectively to provide a Community Food Bank and essential support services to those who need them most.

Grayson & Debbie Snell
Chief Shoppers & Inventory Management
Grayson and Debbie are the engine behind our stock logistics. Their dedication to the community is unmatched a typical “stock run” for them can involve 5 hours of intensive work, 20 trolleys, a van, a car, and a trailer. They ensure our inventory is sorted and ready for those who need it most with tireless commitment.
3 cars, the children 3 of them and both grandparents, its truly a shop done by heart and passion
Sherree Westley
Lead Volunteer & Eco-Specialist
Sherree is our longest-serving volunteer, having been with NPCM since the very beginning. She leads our “Don’t Be a Punk, Recycle Your Junk” initiative. As a true “eco-warrior,” Sherree ensures we stay true to our environmental values, complementing our team-wide Carbon Literacy certificate.
Katy Mills
Volunteer
Katy Mills is also our volunteer who goes with Terri every week . They often help at anything that needs doing, such as painting, cleaning, also they help take donations of pillows to the NHS royal Infirmary on a regular basis

This Is Terri , Terri and Katy are our Collectors for our fresh prouduce. They weekly give thier own time to help sort and roate our fresh stocks of fruits, vegs ect which is stocked up ready for use for the days to come. Terri is also going to be our social media person.
